When
All-Canada Convention for all Canadian Disciples and friends will be Thursday August 15-Sunday August 18 2024. Clergy and seminarians are invited to continue to stay until Tuesday August 20 for a a retreat.
Where
All events--except cultural visits--will be at Broadway Disciples United Church in downtown Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Who
We strongly encourage as many people who attend Disciples churches or participate in Disciples ministries across Canada to come! We believe we are offering quality worship and continuing education that may appeal to international guests and those from other Christian traditions and those curious about our faith, and you are welcome, too! Registration is free, but important, even for those just visiting one event within the convention, so we can plan for and welcome you. There will be activities for all ages.
How Much
Registration is free, but donations to off-set costs are welcome. Meal tickets cover lunches and suppers from Thursday night through Sunday afternoon. Participants arrange their own lodging, but our office will help connect you with local group rates.

What does it mean to be a disciple? To be a Disciple?
In 2024, we are invited to ask ourselves what Jesus asked us long ago. How will others know we are Disciples? How do WE know we are Disciples?
At this year's gathering we will delve deeply into the questions about who God is calling us to be in Canada today and tomorrow.
Our gathering includes worship, activities for children and youth, continuing education for lay and ordained church leaders, our annual general meeting, a banquet, local cultural experiences, and above all, disciples across Canada being with one another!

Broadway Disciples United Church is hosting us. Broadway is an intercultural and multidenominational church in the heart of Winnipeg, Manitoba.
We will experience how our hosts worship and learn more about the city at the centre of Canada, its history, and what it as a crossroads of First Nations, Métis, English, French, and newer immigrant cultures can teach the rest of the Canadian church about loving and serving Jesus and our neighbours.
