Milton Christian Church

At Milton, worship services are in English, the Bible is the church's guide to faith and life, the Lord's Supper is celebrated every Sunday, and there are no creeds or doctrinal statements - only faith in Christ.

In this congregation, you can dress up a bit more formally, dress casually, or something in between. 

Kids, youth, and people of all ages are welcome!

• Junior Youth Group (ages 5-12) - meets every second Thursday (evening)
• After Shock Youth Group (ages 13-16) - meets every second Thursday (evening)
• Milton Cafe - socializing and games are hosted on the 1st and 3rd Mondays (afternoon)
• Disciples Women - gatherings to discuss and plan compassion-focused missions near and far are held on the 1st Tuesday (afternoon)
• Christian Men's Fellowship - gatherings for food and fellowship are held on the 4th Tuesday (evening)
• Learning Opportunities (adults) - Bible studies and discussion groups on timely topics are offered throughout the year

Milton is situated on both sides of the Mersey River and it is the home of one of the earliest paper mills in Nova Scotia. 

The first church was built in 1834. Disciples moved into their second church building in 1864. After 150 years, the church building started to show its age and it had structural issues. In 2015, construction began on a new building that would be more energy efficient and wheelchair accessible. The present building was completed in 2016.

The main floor has a modern kitchen and an open concept space for worship and other special events.
