Campbell-Stone United Church

Worship services are in English. Words and lyrics will be projected onto a screen in the worship space and online so that you can follow the flow of the service.

At Campbell-Stone, members lead each other in Sunday morning worship. In a safe and open space, members share music, communion, and scripture-based reflections. The goal of worship is to leave inspired, renewed, and with an intent to live lives in harmony with God's word. At times, Bible college students, visiting ministers, and theological professors are invited to provide diverse and forward-looking faith perspectives in their sermons.

The church supports local organizations such as Hull Services, The Mustard Seed, and the Veterans Food Bank. In addition, it supports the mission and service projects of the wider church as well as social justice-related endeavours of local, national, and international organizations. 

Campbell-Stone has been serving Southwest Calgary for over 35 years. It is an ecumenical congregation affiliated with both The United Church of Canada and the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Canada. The church values unity in the essentials of Christ's teachings and charity in all things and towards all people.

Many years ago, members of Campbell-Stone discerned how they wanted the church to move forward. They decided to focus on worship and outreach. As a result, they've transition to being lay-led and renting space in order to pursue those goals. They are currently gathering in person at Hull Services Campus and online via Zoom. 

Campbell-Stone is a lay-led congregation with a dedicated group of people who organize, plan, and host online and in person services, social gatherings, and outreach activities.
